Starfish – Leading the Way

March 19, 2018

This weekend whilst walking along the Lincolnshire coast we came across hundreds of starfish that had been washed up on shore by the “Beast from the East”, a number of people were picking them up an throwing them back into the sea as starfish have a decentralised neural structure permitting regeneration.

This lead me to think about an article the CMI wrote around how leaderless organisations are leading the way and how the powerful strategy of decentralisation and regeneration is explained and applied to human organisations.
