Spring Member Conference and Annual OD Awards

“The Power of Systemic OD”

Date: TBC

Venue: TBC

As we work to continue demystify and educate around the key aspects of OD, our Spring Member Conference will be an experiential learning opportunity modelling the importance of diagnosis through our morning session and using this to create a dialogue and storytelling into the afternoon session. With two key note speakers and an interactive workshop, this day will inspire members to ensure that these importance aspects of OD are understood and practiced.

Our Membership Services Team are in the final stages of confirming the date for Spring 2019! Watch this space for further information to be released very soon!

Our member conferences are an opportunity for you to share best practice amongst each other, collaborate, network with fellow organisational development and learning professionals, enjoy hearing from other organisations and pick up key learning secrets from guest speakers, whilst learning about developments in the OD profession.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Roundtable Events

Date: Wednesday 23rd January 2019

Venue: Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust

Date: Wednesday 20th February 2019

Venue: Wareham Hospital, Streche Road, Wareham, BH20 4QQ

Join the Institute for Organisational Development Team for our upcoming facilitated round table discussions.

The events will bring together senior leaders to have frank and open discussions around the theme:  Clinical Leadership.

It’s amazing how many organisations we come across which are stifled, characterized and defined by the structure of the organisation.

How well do the structures of your organisations enable all employees to process the impact this has on our bodies, minds, hearts and spirits?

Do you think that we all need help from time to time to process the world around us and our relationship to it?  Does this depend on a person’s personality or preferences?

What examples does your organisation have that help people do this?

Space is strictly limited to 20 participants.

As part of our desire and commitment to strengthening and developing the UK and world-wide OD community, The Institute for Organisational Development supports with facilitation of Roundtable events at various venues across the UK. Roundtable events provide an opportunity for Director level colleagues to have open and frank discussions focused around various OD themes and network with like-minded HR/OD professionals from different public and private sector organisations. Chatham House rules apply!

If you are interested and able to attend the event, please confirm your attendance to

I decided to attend the conference because it’s all about ethics. For me ethics in leadership is absolutely crucial, not just for our service but across all public services and the private sector. So far it’s been fantastic. I’ve really enjoyed the coaching and the main speaker. I would recommend anyone to spend some time here and interchange ideas with colleagues and talk to the Institute consultants who are fabulous at what they do. The conference gives you time to reflect on what you are trying to achieve at work.
