OD Masterclass Series

Date: Monday 10th September 2018

Venue: Village Nottingham, Brailsford Way, Chilwell, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, NG9 6DL

We are delighted to be able to welcome Dr Andy Cope as our guest speaker for this session, who will speak on the theme of ‘The Art of Being Brilliant’.  We live in a manic society where most people’s lives are on permanent fast-forward.  The modern workplace is typified by a never ending regime of restructures and budget cuts.

‘The Art of Being Brilliant’ provides an antidote to the crazy world that typifies modern Britain.  This workshop uses cutting edge research to explore how you can be you, brilliantly.

Andy Cope describes himself as a ‘recovering academic’.  The content is taken from Andy’s research into positive psychology.  Essentially, he has spent 12 years researching the science of happiness and wellbeing (literally seeking out happy people and interviewing them!), documenting his findings in the UKs first ever PhD in Human Flourishing.

Numbers will be strictly limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.

Strategic members are entitled to two  ‘free’ places per organisation. Additional places can be obtained with a 20% discounted rate.

Testimonial

I decided to attend the conference because it’s all about ethics. For me ethics in leadership is absolutely crucial, not just for our service but across all public services and the private sector. So far it’s been fantastic. I’ve really enjoyed the coaching and the main speaker. I would recommend anyone to spend some time here and interchange ideas with colleagues and talk to the Institute consultants who are fabulous at what they do. The conference gives you time to reflect on what you are trying to achieve at work.
