Earphones and Fire Alarms!

March 13, 2018

If you were to walk into The Institute for Organisational Development this morning, you would find us all with our earphones in and most of us listening to music. Not intentional, it’s just to drown out the sound of our fire alarm which currently is going off and won’t turn off after its weekly fire alarm check! We’re on to sorting it!

Sitting here it is making me wonder how resilient I am being able to concentrate on my daily activities here in the office.

‘Resilience’ is the capacity for an individual to deal effectively with stress, pressure and challenges and perform to the best of their abilities irrespective of the circumstances in which they find themselves. It is referred to by some as the ability to ‘bounce back’.

Would you like to have the confidence to deal effectively with change; be more resilient and in control?
Our two-day development programme enables you to develop your ‘resilience’ – and provides you with skills that you’ll be able to take back to the workplace the moment you leave.

This programme is ideal for anyone, in particular those responsible for managing and developing the performance of others within organisations and individuals, business owners and leaders who want to enhance performance in these challenging times.

The next dates set for this programme are 15th and 16th May 2018 here at The Institute for Organisational Development!

Full price for the programme is 550+VAT. Already an Individual Member to The Institute for Organisational Development? This entitles you to a 10% discount off this or any other development programmes with us?
