EVALUATION CASE STUDY: LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (SAFER COMMUNITIES)
The Safer Communities Service was created within the Council in 2011, bringing together the Community Safety and Trading Standards teams. The service works with partners across the county to help make Lincolnshire a safe place for residents to live. This includes reducing domestic abuse, ensuring a safe, healthy and sustainable food chain for the benefit of consumers and the rural economy, supporting economic growth especially in small businesses and playing a coordinating role in relation to community safety. EVALUATION CASE STUDY: INTRODUCTORY CERTIFICATE IN ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
The Certificate comprises of three two-day modules, one for each discipline as well as two supervision calls (where delegates have the opportunity to reflect on how they are applying their learning back in the workplace) and a half day evaluation session. The two day modules are heavily based upon two day programmes The Institute for Organisational Development already run on each discipline- Introduction to Consultancy Skills, Introduction to Facilitation Skills and Coaching for Leaders. EVALUATION CASE STUDY: CAMBRIDGESHIRE CONSTABULARY
Like all Police Forces, Cambridgeshire Constabulary is faced with the challenge of having to make substantial savings without damaging the policing service provided to the public. There was awareness at senior levels within the organisation that alongside the planned structural and process changes, a shift in culture and a change of ‘habits’ was required to enable the realisation of the required financial savings whilst maintaining the frontline policing service. EVALUATION CASE STUDY: NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL
The Institute for Organisational Development and North Lincolnshire Council have worked together over several years to develop “in–house” capability within the organisation in three key skill areas; coaching, consulting and facilitation, with multiple members of staff achieving certificates in all three disciplines. The Certificate in Professional Consulting is one of the many professional development programmes available at The Institute for Organisational Development on an open and in-company basis. Accredited by the Institute of Consulting as part of the Chartered Management Institute, this course is designed to develop the behaviours and skills necessary to deliver excellence in consultancy practice, both within internal organisational consultancy teams and for external consultants within the field of Organisational Development. EVALUATION CASE STUDY: THE ROYAL HOSPITAL FOR NEURO-DISABILITY
The Royal Hospital for Neuro- disability (The RHN) is the oldest independent hospital and medical charity in the UK (founded in 1854), and is situated in Putney, London. The RHN were keen to further develop a behavioural framework which would confirm where good leadership behaviour is currently being modelled within the organisation and highlight any areas for further development.
